Symbinode v0.3


Hi. Work on v0.3 is finally finished. There were many small problems and unexpected things. Luckily we solved them all although it took more time. 

Changes:

  • Added Parallax rendering mode
  • Added Emissive rendering mode
  • Added Heights map
  • Added Emission map
  • Added Directional Warp node
  • Added Directional Blur node
  • Added Slope Blur node
  • Added Gradient node
  • Added Bevel node (runs entirely on GPU
  • Added Polar transform node 
  • Added Bricks pattern node
  • Added Hex pattern node
  • Added color to grayscale conversion node
  • Added ability to bring nodes back to the center of the screen using the F hotkey. This also works in Material view and Node view.
  • Added ability to do a mask without depth in the Tile node (this is needed for some cases when the depth breaks the pattern).

Improved Blur node, now blur is more stable and does not create small artifacts.

The parameter sliders have been improved. The area for incremental changes has been moved outside the slider. Value field no longer interferes with slider movement. The value field can be edited by double clicking on it.

Fixed bug with loading environment map (thanks to cgmodeler).

Thank you very much. I hope you find our program useful. This is just the beginning of a series of major updates. 

We are already working on v0.3.1. Already managed to improve the speed of material view and made more stable switching in 4K.  

In v0.4 will be the next pack of nodes. 

That sounds really awesome, I'll be waiting for new updates & new nodes:)
